Woodland Healthcare Foundation’s 41st Annual Dinner
The Woodland Healthcare Foundation’s 41st Annual Dinner was held on February 26 and it truly was ‘A Noteworthy Affaire’. More than 420 supporters gathered at the Woodland Community and Senior Center to celebrate the achievements of the Foundation and honor retired pediatricians William Robinson, MD and Robert Hansen, MD. This major fund raising event, co-chaired by Kay Hodges and Kay Curtis, was a success as the event’s proceeds were more than $65,000.
Guests arrived and enjoyed appetizers and a silent auction, followed by a gourmet dinner provided by Tre Events. As the evening progressed, Foundation Trustees

transformed into auctioneers. Together with the generous audience the thrilling live auction raised $10,400 in 30 minutes.
As dessert was served, Dan Nealon, MD took the stage with a touching tribute to retired Woodland Healthcare pediatricians William Robinson, MD and Robert Hansen, MD. The Foundation was proud to honor them for their dedication, achievements and rich history with Woodland Healthcare.
After the presentation, spotlights were redirected to the stage centered in the middle of the room as 2 Grand Entertainment thrilled the audience with a live dueling piano performance. The evening concluded with the winning ticket being drawn for the Las Vegas Trip raffle. Ruth Miller of Wraith, Scarlett and Randolph was the lucky winner.
