Woodland Healthcare Foundation
Mission: Woodland Healthcare Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c) 3 fundraising organization whose goals are to provide financial and community support for Woodland Healthcare. Working with Woodland healthcare’s physicians and staff, the Foundation encourages public interest and support of the Woodland Healthcare campuses; fund capital equipment needs; encourage development of programs, education and services consistent with the values and goals of Woodland Healthcare.
The Woodland Healthcare Foundation was established in 1967 with the purpose of providing funds to benefit Woodland Healthcare. Today, the Woodland Healthcare Foundation raises funds to assist Woodland Healthcare in obtaining new equipment and it supports Woodland Healthcare related programs and services. The Woodland Healthcare Foundation is governed by a 25-member Board of Trustees made up of community volunteers, business leaders and healthcare professionals.
Since its inception, 41 years ago, the Woodland Healthcare Foundation has supported many projects, including: Living with Cancer Group, Rubella Vaccine Education, Diabetes Education, Cardiac Wellness, Health Information Library, Prenatal Care of Low Income Women and Teen Health. Additionally, the Woodland Healthcare Foundation is proud to have funded the Intermediate Care Nursery Project, Radiography Room , Patient Monitoring System in Intensive Care and the Women’s and Children’s Pavilion. Due to the generousity of our donors, all funds received by the Foundation, a tax exempt organization, directly support Woodland Healthcare and the services offered in our community. The Woodland Healthcare Foundation depends on the support of our community to ensure continued access to quality care.
