Dr. Rajan and Mrs. Priti Merchant

For over 15 years, Woodland Clinic Medical Group allergist Dr. Rajan Merchant and his wife, Priti, have been loyal donors to Woodland Healthcare Foundation.

The Merchants have enthusiastically supported a variety of programs and departments—including Advanced Imaging and Surgical Services, memorial scholarships, and, most recently, the Oncology and Orthopedics initiatives. And in a wonderful expression of their humankindness, several times during the pandemic

Dr. Merchant and his family expressed their appreciation to Woodland Healthcare’s hard-working staff by donating and delivering treats on campus.

Dr. Merchant was also recently recognized as Woodland Healthcare Foundation’s 2024 Physician Philanthropy Champion for exemplifying humankindness through patient care, personal generosity, and partnership in philanthropy.

In expressing his gratitude, he said, “Supporting our community makes a lasting impact on the lives of those in need. Let us continue to work together, leveraging our skills and resources, to create positive change and make a meaningful impact on the well-being of our community.”
