Gaye Nakken
"While driving home in March of 2010, I was one block from my house when I collided with another car at an uncontrolled intersection. The impact of the collision caused an injury to my right foot. I was unable to move it nor feel it. My husband was called and he took me to the Emergency Room at Woodland Healthcare. There it was determined through x-rays and a CT scan that my foot was dislocated and broken in six places. Because of the severity of the trauma, Dr. Bernard scheduled surgery.
From the time I entered the ER room and throughout my two surgeries and recovery, those I encountered at Woodland Healthcare were very caring and attentive, which made a very frightening experience tolerable. I would like to thank Dr. Bernard and the staff at Woodland Healthcare for all their kindness and compassion."
